From the very beginning, it has been important to us that OncoBag develops not only as an innovative product responding to the real needs of women after oncological treatment, but also as a solution built in dialogue with the medical community. That is why the opinions of doctors, physiotherapists, rehabilitation specialists, oncologists, surgeons, and experts from other areas of medicine who work directly with patients after mastectomy and breast cancer treatment are so valuable to us.

OncoBag is currently being developed as a wellness product — supporting comfort, daily functioning, and a sense of security for women after oncological treatment. At the same time, our long-term product roadmap assumes further development of the solution towards a Class I or IIa medical device. This means that we already want to design OncoBag responsibly: by listening to patients, consulting solutions with specialists, and analysing the product’s potential also from a clinical, rehabilitation, and regulatory perspective.

The Medical Opinions section was created precisely to show this process. We will publish statements from experts who share their perspective on the need for such a solution, possible areas of application for OncoBag, and the importance of innovations supporting women after breast cancer treatment.

We believe that the future of MedTech is created at the intersection of patient experience, medical knowledge, technology, and responsible design. This is exactly how we want to develop OncoBag — step by step, with attention to the real needs of women and to the voices of specialists who best understand the challenges involved in returning to everyday life after oncological treatment.

We invite you to visit the new Medical Opinions section and follow upcoming expert statements.
